Italy Destination Wedding
“Positano, it is impossible to leave from here”. So wrote the German painter Paul Klee in his diary. How to blame him? Even under a cloudy sky the village on the Amalfi Coast retains all its charm. An enchanted and surreal atmosphere providing an illusion of a suspended time, crystallized in its beauty. One of the most beautiful known landscapes, Positano from the sea appears as a sea shell whose ridges and grooves shine of different colours. However, Klee was not the only artist impressed by “the only village in the world vertically rather than horizontally built”, as he remarked, by its colours, by its inhabitants. Kristina and Jaceck selected the Santa Maria Assunta church, built on the Santa Maria Benedectine monastery, because of its dome made of majolica tiles. In the following wedding party, friends and guests were received in the Murat Palace, an enchanting mansion from the XIX century. The Palace is located in the historical centre of Positano and it is surrounded by a garden whose fresh scent of Mediterranean citrus transforms it in a heaven on earth.
